Committed to ending hunger on campus
Across the country, four-year colleges and universities, and two-year community colleges are reporting an increasing number of students arrive to class hungry or food insecure – defined as lacking reliable access to sufficient quantities of affordable, nutritious food. A 2018 survey of 86,000 students from 123 two- and four-year institutions throughout the United States by the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice, showed that 45% of respondents were food insecure in the prior 30 days. ϳԹ is committed to removing this obstacle for students by offering food resources on and off-campus.
